This account describes how advanced the Sikh army was with Artillery more advanced than the British.

'Lord Gough the British Commander-in-Chief opened the attack at 3.30 p.m. on 21 st December, 1845, himself led the right, the Governor General the Centre and Sir Littler the left wing of the assailing force. As the British forces came in sight, the Sikh gunners opened fire. Such were the quick volleys of this firing that within ten minutes two hundred British soldiers were either killed or crippled and Sir Littler retired with his force. General Harry Smith who tried to take a Sikh position was also repulsed. Sir Walter Gilbert and General Wallace showed tremendous daring with some success losing 270 men in the exploit. The British now found themselves in a grave position. Half their force under Littler and Harry Smith were outside the Sikh entrenchments but the other half within, unable to advance. Cunningham who was present in the battle gives a graphic description of the battle scene,Darkness, and the obstinacy of the contest, threw the English into confusion; men of all regiments and arms were mixed together: generals were doubtful of the fact or of the extent of their own success and colonels knew not what had become of the regiments they commanded or of the army of which they formed a part'

When you look at hidden Sikh history you find that we were infinitely more advanced as a society than most people can imagine today. Basically we got conquered and they dragged us into a dark age we've not managed to come out of yet.

Instead, people swallow the narrative of Anglos wholesale and don't see what we were and what we lost.

If they knew they'd be angry and would NEVER do the crap we see in the OP.

Dally r u watching the NSYF "khalistan: origins of a nation" series? Its pretty good man. What u mentioned about being independant/advanced in our thinking to beingslaves and dragged into dark age, is pure conditioning of colonism. Check these 2 vids out, it pretty much sums up wat ur saying. I wish all the fuddu indian sikhs and the pro-india arse lickin sikhs could watch these intellectual/factual discussions. When i hear sikhs who have NO interest in being an independant self determining kaum, its makes me sick and embarrased on our shaheeds behalf, with their slave mentality.

You're all wasting your time if you think Dallysingh will ever wake up and understand how India is the real enemy of the Sikhs. His mind is so full of hatred of the British and the rural Sikhs he just can't seem to get past that. That makes him so pathetic he doesn't even realise or understand how the anti-British venom he spews is exactly the same as the anti-British venom the the Indians spew. At the end of the day.....Dallysingh is nothing more than an Indian. You might as well call him Dally Ram. You can trawl back through everything that man has ever written on sikhsangat and you will never once find anything that displays a deep desire for Punjab and the Sikhs to be free from Indian occupation. The man is an Indian through and through. The things he says here are are exactly the same things the right wing Hindus say on right wing Hindu forums.....i.e the real enemy is Britain and British colonialism. Those supportng him need to grow and wake up.....i.e realise that they are giving the thumbs up to the same views that right wing hindus also have.

You're nothing more than a slave infiltrator into the quom, attempting to encourage and spread your weak, servile mentality in an attempt to please your masters. You and your family accept your inferiority and embrace it. You come from a long line of docile slaves and because it is in your blood, you know no better and are proud of it.

No one is swallowing the narrative of the Anglos otherwise these Sikhs would be promoting the British take over of Punjab as a good thiing. What is happening is that they are commemorating a battle in which the Sikhs had they had a better leadership would have defeated the British.

This has been discussed before. NO SIKH that I know would ever say that it was a good thing that the Khalsa kingdom was annexed. Even those Sikhs who lived south of the Satluj whose were already under the British in areas of Ludhiana and under the rule of the Maharajas lamented at the loss of the kingdom. In fact if we look at Sikh history this one event had the most negative impact on the future history of the Sikhs even more than the ghallugharas or Bluestar. Since 1849 we have gone from being an independent nation who controlled a territory about the size of France to a small minority whose future is tied to the whims of the Hindu majority.

The commemoration of battles and illegal war on the Sikh empire is a utter disgrace, insult and humiliation of the Sikhs because the Sikhs have lost everything when the racist British imperialists handed over the keys of punjab to hindu india and muslim pakistan. There is no Sikh nation or government at the moment to take part in commemorations.

And furthermore if anything we should be commemorating the battle of Chillianwala and others where Sikhs were victorious.

Stop deluding yourself mate. What we are seeing is bumlicking at its finest. Shame on these people and shame on all of you trying to justify it one way or another.
