Forget it brother. This is a pukkah besharam bewkwoof. Complete besharam

What a hypocrite. You complain about my language, yet you freely use bewakoof.

You illustrate my point perfectly btw. What gets one person overly excited like a little school girl, is nothing to another person.

Are you sitting there rigidly upright, with a thick pair of glasses and a bow tie ready to be offended at the drop of a hat? Go see some real life.

What kind of bloke are you???

We've got enough puppoos in the community as it, don't add to it.

Talk about getting excited over minor things. Lord have mercy!

I REALLY can't believe, with all of what is going on in the world and in our community, someone would get SO irate over minor stuff like this!!! Seriously, my mind boggles!!

Terrorism, grooming, conversions, murder, people being more and more westernised and apathetic to their heritage but people choose to hone in on this!!!

Lord have mercy!!

I'm worried about getting blown up or shot when out and about, racism rearing its ugly head, financial constraints and whatnot and these people are crying about the use of some robust language....

What kind of sheltered lives have they lived??

Carry on swearing then . I don't want to be part of it.

I told you before - just don't read my posts if you don't like them. You're free not to. You can see my name in the header. Skip them by all means.

You have said it all, despite all this the wretched world in which we live, they expect us to maintain polite language!! Just as well, they don't have any dealings with me, if they did, they be utterly shocked! My kind of language is not found in any standard dictionaries of this world, because it would probably be termed as 'BANNED' language! This world of ours can only be described in this kind of lingo. Can you imagine someone describing the recent events everywhere in the world in flowery and sing a song, Bollywood style musical notes, tones and tunes??

I agree we should not use inappropriate words on the forum, but whenever I have heard somebody say the mentioned word everybody is talking about in this thread, it's been said mostly by males, but in the context of slang, meaning dumb or i. D. I. O. T and not as them using it as a swear word like the F English word. From my understanding it's used like Fukrey, faltu, fataang, funtoosh in that context.

DallySingh101 Ji is not a besharam, that is not wise to say to somebody either because they have a different vocabulary. Maybe the word used we do not approve of but calling somebody a besharam is also a personal insult. the same as what one is telling the other off for. If he is younger than you Singhberkshire Ji, then rather than you could also use better words to make him aware he is not using the right words, like call him veer Ji or paji and explain exactly why it's not an appropriate word.

That's what it is, we've got a more realistic appraisal of the world in all its colours, good and bad. These people's parents have obviously sheltered them to such an extent that they can't even mentality handle any little piece of deviance to the excessive order they been under.

Lord, even as a younguns we had to frequently deal with violent, aggressive skinhead thugs stepping up in your face swearing and using all sorts of racist language, wanting to kick off. Can you imagine how these pansies would react to that!

You can extrapolate how useful they'd be if things got ugly around them. Probably wouldn't come out from under their beds.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
