Guest Question

I need to understand why Sikhs wear a kachera. One my my white colleagues at work asked me why Sikhs wear 'shorts' and not any other style of underwear. I did not know how to answer him - if someone can explain why Sikhs wear kacheras please. Thanks.

So the logic is that a kachera allows 100% flexible movement and Sikhs have to be 'ready' at all times and not wear clothes that restrict free bodily movement. My next question is that should Sikhs be wearing English style trousers because you cannot move freely in them 100% eg do the splits, high leg rises etc
