Distorted? The tuk clearly explains only with effort 'masakat' or in simpler Punjabi (mehnat), that person who has meditated on naam reaches the stage where his/her face shines bright and not only they but people in their company are liberated (azad). The analogy being there are no 'shortcuts' in Sikhi. Ghalana kar ke, naam japke jeevan bandhanaa ton shad sakdha hai, aka success!

Whilst I appreciate your feedback, had you read the title correctly and not jumped to conclusions that I had twisted Gurbani we would not be having this discussion. It was a simple light hearted analogy!
