Kedara. 5th Guru.

ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਬਸਤ ਰਿਦ ਮਹਿ ਖੋਰ ॥

प्रीतम बसत रिद महि खोर ॥

Parīṯam basaṯ riḏ mėh kẖor.

My Beloved bides in the cave of my mind.

ਭਰਮ ਭੀਤਿ ਨਿਵਾਰਿ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਗਹਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਅਪਨੀ ਓਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

भरम भीति निवारि ठाकुर गहि लेहु अपनी ओर ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Bharam bẖīṯ nivār ṯẖākur gėh leho apnī or. ||1|| rahā▫o.

Shatter Thou the wall of doubt, O Lord and holding me, pull Thou me towards Thyself. Pause.

ਅਧਿਕ ਗਰਤ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਾਗਰ ਕਰਿ ਦਇਆ ਚਾਰਹੁ ਧੋਰ ॥

अधिक गरत संसार सागर करि दइआ चारहु धोर ॥

Aḏẖik garaṯ sansār sāgar kar ḏa▫i▫ā cẖārahu ḏẖor.

The world-ocean is a great pit. In Thy mercy Thou mount me up to its shore.

ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਨ ਬੋਹਿਥ ਉਧਰਤੇ ਲੈ ਮੋਰ ॥੧॥

संतसंगि हरि चरन बोहिथ उधरते लै मोर ॥१॥

Saṯsang har cẖaran bohith uḏẖraṯe lai mor. ||1||

In the saints' society, I have realised that the Lord's feet are the boat to ferry me across.

ਗਰਭ ਕੁੰਟ ਮਹਿ ਜਿਨਹਿ ਧਾਰਿਓ ਨਹੀ ਬਿਖੈ ਬਨ ਮਹਿ ਹੋਰ ॥

गरभ कुंट महि जिनहि धारिओ नही बिखै बन महि होर ॥

Garabẖ kunt mėh jinėh ḏẖāri▫o nahī bikẖai ban mėh hor.

He, who protected thee in the tank of the belly, no other, but He, shall save thee in the world forest of sins.

ਹਰਿ ਸਕਤ ਸਰਨ ਸਮਰਥ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਨ ਨਹੀ ਨਿਹੋਰ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੦॥

हरि सकत सरन समरथ नानक आन नही निहोर ॥२॥२॥१०॥

Har sakaṯ saran samrath Nānak ān nahī nihor. ||2||2||10||

God's refuge is powerful and potent to do all the deeds. Nanak owes allegiance to none else.

ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਜੀ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਸੁਖਵਾਸੀ ॥

हरि धिआवहि हरि धिआवहि तुधु जी से जन जुग महि सुखवासी ॥

Har ḏẖi▫āvahi har ḏẖi▫āvahi ṯuḏẖ jī se jan jug mėh sukẖvāsī.

Who deliberate and ponder over Thee, O Sire Lord! those persons abide in peace in this world.

ਸੇ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਸੇ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਭਏ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਜੀ ਤਿਨ ਤੂਟੀ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਫਾਸੀ ॥

से मुकतु से मुकतु भए जिन हरि धिआइआ जी तिन तूटी जम की फासी ॥

Se mukaṯ se mukaṯ bẖa▫e jin har ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā jī ṯin ṯūtī jam kī fāsī.

Emancipated and liberated are they who remember Thee, O Sire God, Their death's noose is cut.

ਜਿਨ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਜੀ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਭਉ ਸਭੁ ਗਵਾਸੀ ॥

जिन निरभउ जिन हरि निरभउ धिआइआ जी तिन का भउ सभु गवासी ॥

Jin nirbẖa▫o jin har nirbẖa▫o ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā jī ṯin kā bẖa▫o sabẖ gavāsī.

They who meditate on the Fearless, the Fearless Lord; their fear is all shaken off.

ਜਿਨ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਜਿਨ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੂਪਿ ਸਮਾਸੀ ॥

जिन सेविआ जिन सेविआ मेरा हरि जी ते हरि हरि रूपि समासी ॥

Jin sevi▫ā jin sevi▫ā merā har jī ṯe har har rūp samāsī.

They who have served, they who have served my Sire God; they are absorbed in the personality of Lord God.

ਸੇ ਧੰਨੁ ਸੇ ਧੰਨੁ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਜੀ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਸੀ ॥੩॥

से धंनु से धंनु जिन हरि धिआइआ जी जनु नानकु तिन बलि जासी ॥३॥

Se ḏẖan se ḏẖan jin har ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā jī jan Nānak ṯin bal jāsī. ||3||

Blest are they, blest are they, who have meditated on Sire God. Serf Nanak is devoted unto then.

Really good Bandha
