Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Fateh

When I say shut up to my brother I feel bad, because I know I should't be talking like that. I want to say sorry but then he will probably laugh at me or swear at me. Is it necessary to say sorry or is it ok if i don't but learn from my mistakes.

If it makes u feel bad don't say it next time, find an alternative. Say sorry if u feel u have offended or hurt, as ur older u will be teaching ur younger brother some morals too. U won't know until u try a method.

He's my older brother :S.

Probably start saying sorry if I offend him. Thanks for the advice

In that case u should say sorry, don't see why he should laugh or swear at you. It shows that u respect ur elders and him being older will respect that. Although if one is older or younger should not make a difference as to saying sorry if u offend or hurt the age is not relevant. It's create nimarata, humbleness.
