Over the year I've had loads of weird definitely bad dreams. Like today in the dream there was something maybe a spirit present and it was throwing stuff I couldn't see it and I just start doing simran in the dream and slowly slowly it stops and now that I've dwelled on this dream it reminds me of other ones. There have been cloacked figure ones where they get closer and then again I remember doing simran and just closing my eyes and then having woke up. In the middle of the night I do hear loads of noises but I just do simran and try to doze of don't really think in to it too much don't see the point of focusing on things such as those. Having said all of that I'm not a person that generally does simran or path that much anymore at all I'm at a standstill at the moment. I've had many bad dreams along this point I can't help but voice it to see if its just my wild imagination and box it up and forget it or maybe get to the root of it.

My own experience is making me say that you are probably dealing with an active psychic attack and you did well to do nam jap, if you find it hard to during such dreams try saying mool mantar and concentrating on the meaning of each word.

Are you sleeping after doing Kirtan Sohila facing your pillow ? Remember to recite Salok (pavan Guru Pani pita) too afterwards .

U doing simran in your dream and not giving negative entities the attention they crave (negativity is attention seeking- thats why we are not interested in slanderers crap etc) is symbolic of your psychology- so it's good.

I used to get attacked almost daily by spirits- they even used to follow me when i used to move house as a child. And one day i realised(By the grace of the Guru)- that they are just God himself dressed up in this khel.

In one samadhi when i was older, a particularly powerful demon was after me, (it had harrassed my family member a few days earlier also). I felt a wave of peace and fearlessness as it came up the stairs, I sat on the ground- and said, God i know it's just You dressed up. The white light(Of Truth) came, and i was fine.

There are loads of ghosts on earth and alot of demons dont like us doing bhagti. But wat i have learned is that God is in them aswell, and given the chance, alot of them would say yes to having peace-and getting out of their sad states of pain, going towards the light.

Being fearless is seeing God in all- in everything- in the 2nd energy(spirit/astral plane) and 3rd energy(earth- human body). Being fearless of spirits and their crap also brings fearlessness of crap on earth as we no longer fear bad people(bad souls- which just feel like bad ghosts/demons etc) and their slander/evil for that is all just 2nd energy negativity aswell. We begin to detach from false people and their crap. So the lessons we learn from these spirits

Can also be applied in daily life.

Jesus called bad people satan- Guru Nanak Dev ji said they in Kalyug, men are demons. They recognised the souls of people instead of just the 3rd energy body.

@simran345, I don't think anybody else hears them just me otherwise it would've been a big topic at home lool. I don't think I'm stressed over much just the norm feel like times running out all the time. And in terms of what made me stop there was no definite point it just sort of happened. And the noises are inside the house and not during the dream only in my room but I'm not actually scared because maharaj is right next door so I've just literally ignored them because I know nothing can ever happen with maharaj with me@jkvlondon... Hm so that doesn't freak me out erm I don't have my face in the pillow I don't think I'd be able to breathe @wingz23 thankss :)

Thanks for all the different responses I really do appreciate it.

lol keep it real the whole of reality is created from thought, n this world is a dream- thats why gurbani says don't mess up in maya even in your dreams- this world is a dream- an illusion, so are your dreams- so one is as real as u think the other is.

The Manmukh thinks that their way is always better than the way of the Guru/Truth/Gurbani. But Gurbani tells us whats what n it tells us straight.

Spirits are souls, just like us, except that we also have a 3rd energy body on earth. They can try n get to us through dreams or while awake. Your loved ones who have passed on are souls etc- many come n try n contact family members after death.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
