Holding And Carrying 3 Ft Kirpan Is Sign Of Politician?

What is the understanding behind carrying 3 ft kirpan? i like having shaastar on you all time but i see people who turns into famous personality started carrying 3 ft kirpan. Is this showing that "I am leader" ?

These guys carrying the kirpan are probably ----- with no knowledge of how to deploy or use shastar they probably have big ---- bellys as well. In answer to your question yes its just pakhand a status symbol..makes them feel special carrying a big kirpan around its probably blunt as well...lol

Jathedars and singh sahibs always carry big kirpans which I think is ok but it should be limited to certain categories. I am not against anyone who carry additional kirpan but it looks very cheesy when they start holding it after . Bhai gurbaksh Singh khalsa now started carrying 3 ft kirpan, why now and why not before? I love him for his incredible sewa he did for our jailed brothers. Sant bhinderanwale carried long kirpan and teer and I agree with that because of historic post.

This is just like trend of giving siropas to anyone.

If your going to carry shastar make sure you have the knowledge and training on how to use them. It's a big responsibility shastars must be given the respect they deserve. Its beadbi to carry shastars for show.
