Brother if you think about it, we cry when were sad, scared, happy and also from remembering a particular memory. So crying is a physical emotional outlet of the body. Probably anyone who is truly religious will definately have a emotional connection with god and the prayers in which they read will be that connection so therefore, if god provides you with emotional support for whatever instance, when one prays, he/she could be feeling any number of the emotions I mentioned above. Hope this makes sense lol

Im not really sure how to explain it.. But when you really have a love for something or someone, Its shows right? And sometimes you cant really control whatever it is your feeling, So you either cry or you get upset or angry, depending on what the situation is. So i think becuase you cant exactly control what your feeling your letting your emoiton and love for Waheguru show. And maybe you are becoming more enlightened, Maybe thats why your seeing things, becuase it does sound like you are paying alot more attetntion to Mahraj, So maybe this is part of your path, to become more spiritual :)

Crying while praying..seeing things in peripheral vision and feeling energy

Can someone explain ?

Crying while praying, is mainly letting off your emotions.

It could also mean, you have intense longing and love for our beloved Wahiguru, you feel the pangs of separation from Him, this is known as "preet".

And indeed, it is a blessing from Wahiguru. It is this intense longing for the Beloved, which washes our sins sooner, then even many years of bhajan bandagee.

The purpose of devotion is that, to make us "nirmal", pure and soft as wax, in order to blend in that Ocean of Love, namely Wahiguru.
