Excellent work, very professional posters.

I would recommend you forward the posters to;

Lindt - http://www.lindt.co.uk/swf/eng/contact/

Mars - http://www.mars.com/uk/en/about-mars/contact-us.aspx

Nestle - https://econsumeraffairs.com/nestleuk/contactus.htm?F1=nestleuk

Thorntons - http://www.thorntons.co.uk/custserv/contactus.jsp

... to let them know Sikhs do not approve of these products. You never know, they might make changes, but they need to be told first.

Its a pity that Sikhs do not have a food standards organisation, which not only looks at what Sikhs eat but considers animal welfare. Wonder what the Akal Tahkt would think?

Personally would not suggest; Protein from bones, cartilage, tendons, and skin of animals. (Much of the commercial gelatin is a by-product of pig skin)

Which, in more normal English, is some; Marshmallows, yogurt, frosted cereals, gelatin-containing desserts, molded salads..

Perhaps, in the absence of proper leadership. members of the Sangat could try and build a list of products with ingredients that are not suitable for consumption.

If a list can be created, we offer to create a web page and share the information with others like www.1GUK.com.

Once again, great effort by 1GSeva for raising this.
