Exactly Mokham Singh Ji, Gurmat is marg which is spontenous flow of prem, bairaag, sargun, shabad, gyan aspects blended beautifully in naam - how can we totally shun off sargun aspects in our dharam? We be inadvertently doing khandan of gurbani if we did that.. Sargun too is saroop of maharaj along with shabad and nirgun-gyan. Regardless of whichever aspect one is attached, one thing is common between all is ego has to be surrender to any aspect of maharaj and ego has to die. This is ultimate fact which is common in all.

For eg- once bhagat has surrender his ego too sargun saroop of maharaj- satguru himself in sargun saroop draw bhagat into color of love and give him sargun-nirgun ekta shabad gyan- bhramgyan and mukhti, similarly goes for sikh who is attached to shabad aspect of maharaj once ego or individual surti-individualistic mind dies in shabad, satguru in form of shabad itself dissolve his sikh into shabad and leaving only shabad gyan -bhramgyan and finally similarly goes for upasakh of nirgun advait gyan aspect of maharaj- shabad gyan, once one has to totally disassociated themselves from ego and lost their individualistic mind totally- waken from dream-ego state always aware of supreme awareness bliss (sat chit ananda-gurparsad) within like unbroken current, satguru himself in form of self-atma-paratma draw his sikh towards its ultimate saroop and eventually merges his sikh into all pervading non dual(advait) - universal supreme consciousness bliss saroop of maharaj.

There is a difference between using a family name and discrimination based upon caste. Using Got is not anti-Sikhi, discriminating based on caste/class is. Gurbani uses words such as Chamar, Bhalla frequently. We could use Gots like the western people do, simply for heritage/identification purposes.

Didn't Bhai Gurdas refer to Guru Ji as 'Sodhi Patshah'?

Staty fearless, be physically fit, practise martial arts and be prepared to fight for your own rights and those of others.

Remain equanimous through happy and sad times - don't rejoice too much in good times and dont complain too much in bad ones.

Equality of men and women and rejection of dowry (root cause of female infanticide) and grand weddings.

Drop your castist last name - don't claim belonging to any castist group , not even of your ancestors , when some asks you your got - answer with "our ancestors were lowest of low castes , now we are sikhs and hence have no caste" .

2. Haq paraya Nananka Us Sooar Us Gaay ||
Earn with the sweat of your brow - with honest means and never desire something that is not rightfully yours.

3. Nanak Mangan Jhakhna Dukh Chad Mangiye Sukh | Dukh Sukh Doye Kapre pehre jaye manukh ||
Instead of demanding material things from Guru such as health, money , job etc, try to culitvate a realtion of love.

4. Sagan upsagan tis ko laage jis har cheet na aave || and Jab AApan Aap Ur Dhare To Sagan Apsagan kaho kaha veechare ||
Complete rejection of all kinds of veham bharam - jotish, sagan apsagan , vastu, palmistry, kala jadu, bhoot, vart pret etc.

5. Paathar lai poojei mukh mugadh Gavaar | oh jo aap doobat tum kaha taaranhar
No Matha Tek to Photos / Idols.

6.jith peethai khasam visarai dharageh milai sajaae || and kabeer bhaaNg maachhulee suraa paan jo jo paraanee khaaNhi. tirath barat naym kee-ay tay sabhai rasaatal jaaNhi

No usage of alochol or other intoxicants.

By doing this above, the consequence, or the result is that, He, comes and dwells within us, as seen in the following verse :
