Im not a follower of any religion. However my friend at work is a muslim- a girl recently started to work at the same company. The girl is a sikh and is madly in love with this guy. Now i know they should not get married due to their religion which isnt the same- obviously. Now that rakhi day came and he insisted to the girl to tie a rakhi on his hand. Its the brother sister thing day. She eventually tied it but shes still after this guy. Its a one way street- shes blinded by love. He sees her as a sister but she wants more. Its insane.

Im here on this website for help and advice as to what to do with these two at work. Iv had a chat with the guy and hes ready to leave his job and move elsewhere. Its messed up! I know. But he cares alot for this girl and means no harm. Now what can i do to help. (Hockey stick or cricket bat) ok no jokes but help please

Hi its kavel again. Thanks for your reply. I have talked to him and he told me the truth. I cant believe this what im going to say, its messed my head up 100% so hear me out.

He has feelings for this girl alot and she is wifey material- thats what he said. However he is distancing himself from her because of two things- 1-she drinks alcohol which he is totally against. 2-she eats pork and smokes sheesha thats it.

Other than that he obvious loves her alot. Its impossible for me to talk to the girl but i see the look she gives him, the way they tease each other and talk, joke around- its beautiful. He purposely told her to put a rakhri on him so he gets put off by her.

He cant sleep much chill with the boys etc hes emotionally getting messed up because he knows he wont get with this girl.

Iv told him to distract himself from her ie get a gf or go chill and meet new friends. Am i doing the right thing or not?

to protect the Izzat of a muslim sister we will always uphold the same values as that of our own. Sikh dharam will appeal to the World in an era where others have reached their zenith.
