Anand Sahib

Hi,

I have a general question.

Are there 2 versions of the Anand Sahib path? I always assumed there was just one kind of short one that you do at the end of path.

BUT, I came across a 'full' version today.

I'm a bit confused. Why is there a shortened version?

the full version is for amritvela, its one of the 5 bania. the short version is first 5 paurian and the last pauri

correct me if i am wrong because i am a new learner as well.

So the short version can be recited at any time?

Yea i think so. The 5 paurian are usually read at the end of Rehraas sahib or after a kirtan samapti..or after an akhand paath.. but its nice to do & hear the entire bani too (like its done during amrit vele)

Yea its nice, even i din know the complete baani, until i did the complete nitnem.. n then it was like wow after doing the complete nitnem.. Hope you enjoy it
