Are Western Punjabi Sikh Females Easy Target For Exploitation By Non-Sikhs?

I was just looking at social media networking sites and seeing the comments and tweets of girls/women of punjabi sikh background and saw they mostly were being targeted by non-sikh guys for interactions and conversations especially pakistani / kashmiri muslim guys. Who as we already know look for non-muslim girls for sexual exploitation / grooming and ultimately conversion to islam by devious softly softly approach and also see it as part of their jihad against the kafir unbelievers and their faith.

So was wondering are any of our Sikh organizations and leaders know what is going on? And how do we combat and raise awareness of this problem which has and will impact our community in years to come.

Comes down to:

1. Exposure to western lifestyle - easy to become engrossed in fashion/going out/etc

2. Lack of education on Sikhi from parents - so girls become disinterested in Sikhi.

3. Lack of exposure to Sikhi in Gurdwaras - parchar needs to be done in English so kids understand from a young age.

4. Lack of moral reinforcement from parents - so when the girl wants to go out/cut hair/dress up, nothing's said/done.

5. Lack of respect from Sikh men - quite often they're the ones going out/"dating" these girls.

6. There are Sikh men who aren't into Sikhi - cut hair, drinking, smoking etc. They become difficult to separate from non-Sikhs.

I've seen many guys wear karas and pretend to be Sikhs to lure Sikh girls. These girls will either rebel against strict parents and go out with them, or through lack of education, go out with them. Either way, the bait has been caught and then the girl is manipulated.

It needs to start from parents. Not educating their kids and raising them properly is what has led to this situation. Look at what's going on in the media - shows like TOWIE, stuff like vajazzalling etc reinforces promiscuous behaviour. Strong moral fibre helps protect against this. If the seed of Sikhi hasn't been planted, there will be no protection.

It seems this is true, for some reason they have no sharam and go after Punjabi girls on social networking sites.

Most of the time apni kurian think they're creepy and won't even talk to them, but if the person isn't a fob and knows how to play the game they can fall for the deception if they're not strong in their identity and morals.

Perhaps we should monitor the posts and tweets of Sikh girls and the groomers? and keep a copy of what is being said and keep it on a website or a facebook page so we can see how and who is being targeted and by whom.

Prepare yourself to hear things like "Mind your own business" or "It's my life!!!". They have a point. :biggrin2:

This guy is targetting Sikh girls also first chatting friendly doing some banter then slowly trying to groom them for conversion for the unsuspecting naive foolish westernised hedonistic punjabi girls who do not realise what the ultimate plans and missions are for a muslim.

Name and shaming of these girls may be the best solution? At least then their parents, their family and the community at large knows what they are getting up to?

The concept of shame seems to be missing from these girls lives they feel untouchable to do as they please without knowing the consequences for our minority community. We are a minority we should be very careful with our demographics and how we raise our future generations the White atheist / Christian majority have enough populous to do as they please but if our girls end up being all hedonist easy prey for any non-sikh then our beautiful religion and community will be no more and you know who the winners will be?

Islamic fundamentalists because they reserve their womenfolk for muslms only (they are taught that from birth) and the Christians dont really have any hold on their women so they will become muslim eventually and as for atheists they are a lost cause their women are easy target for muslim men also.

I think its safe to say our Sikh organisations are inept or blind to the obvious what is happening before our eyes. While the keshdhari and amrithdhari's blissfully eat their samosay in gurdwara the majority of the Sikh population sehajdharis (90+%) are neglected and easy prey for non-sikhs to par take in bad influences and activities....there is no guidance for them as they are excluded for not keeping their kesh.

We seriously need to wake up before our sisters izzats are gone and our blissful brothers pag gets knocked off by some zealots in a coming few years when their numbers increase and ours are decreased to that of a handful..

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
