I guess you're right, but the important point is the bolded.

Let's be real though, a Singh wearing an uchkin or congress-like attire looks a bit odd too. I prefer a suit or dressed like a sardar as that's what we are:

Never dressed like that before to a party though haha ^. Ideally if we started to act like real sardars, that's what we should dress like and same as sardarnis.

There's nothing really right or wrong in this case so long as it doesn't go against maryada, but I still think we should stick to our culture and dress as who we are.
