Hello,

I was hoping to gain some insight into a stamp marks that can be found on throwing chakrams. Below is a chakram stamped 3 times with a three prong stamp. I was told that the symbol was the "Sikh tree symbol" by a non Sikh. I am unfamiliar with the "Sikh tree" symbol. Was I told incorrectly? If I was, what does it mean? Personally, I believe that it might be a Aad Chand, as this symbol was associated with the nihang which commonly used chakrams. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated for my research. I know tridents are associated with Hindus, but is there any association with Sikhs, especially between 1800-1900? It may also be possible that the stamp is just a decoration or of a auspicious nature.

Thank you for any and all help with my research.
