Do you not find it suspicious that just as she was showing signs of turning the corner, she was transferred on the orders of the Indian Home Ministry, by air ambulance, to a 'specialist' hospital in singapore, where, coincidentally, she died within 24 hours, despite similar or better facilities existing in India, and the expected transfer time completely wiping out any speculative benefit in care that could have been gained in singapore (the words of doctors and mp's, not mine)?

Do you not hold the Government of India responsible for creating a culture of rape, violence, and an atmosphere where murderers and rapists feel safe, nay, confident enough to attack men and women on a whim and feel they will get away with it? I assure you, if there wasn't the fierce uproar against this brutal rape in the few non-governmental, opposition, and campaigning media channels in india that sparked the protests, the Delhi Police would not have lifted a finger!
