Sikh Girl with a Muslim convert sikh Guy

Is it wrong for a sikh girl to be with a guy who's born into a muslim family but converts to Sikhism.

Is it wrong for the 2 to be together in a serious relationship?

The guy basically didn't believe in his muslim ways and converted to Sikhism, all his friends are Sikhi and he does everything a muslim shouldn't.

I just want to know what soceity will think of that relationship and will brown punjabi guys think of her as a <banned word filter activated>?

I asked elsewhere and they said it doesn't matter if the guy was muslim before, once someone converts as a sikhi, relationship with a sikh girl is accepted.

By convert if you mean the guy has taken amrit and is is now a fully baptised Sikh living a Sikh lifestyle...and by serious relationship if you mean they are going to get married via an Anand Karaj ceromony. Then I dont believe there is any issue.

If however you mean a serious relationship outside of marriage then this is not permitted "dating" is not allowed in Sikhi irrespective of religions.

Also even if he has taken Amrit and they get married..whether or not society accepts this is another matter entirely ! People always will gossip..
