SSA Sangat jeo,

Has anyone ordered a kara from this website?

I thought it might be a good idea to give someone as a gift, or to have something unique to pass on as a family heirloom.

I also thought about exchanging unique karas in an engagement ceremony. Wearing rings seems to be a Western practice adopted by the rest of the world. Perhaps we could start a tradition unique to Sikhi.

Handcuffed to God, and handcuffed to each other. For better or for worse, lol.

The only apprehension I have, is turning the kara into a piece of jewelry. Traditionally, karas were made from sarbloh, because it was affordable for all.

However, if kirpans can be made from different materials and elaborately decorated, then why not karas?

Any opinions? Any experience dealing with this site?
