You can make me laugh but do you think you can joke around with dharam raj?

Singh Ji you have too much nimrita that is why you are a true Sikh. That is if you read raag mala ;)!

LOL i like the way you wrote that - like I said I have rectified my mistakes from the past. Your nimrata exceeds my nimrata by an infinity times more :)

All l said was women to cover up more thats all. Wear clothing that is more respectful.

How about this a sikh girl says to her dad l am going out dad and she is wearing short skirt and tight top looks likes shes an easy target. Thats not respectful to your parents..... same thing women going to the gudwara its not respecful as guru ji is our teacher too...

I never said anything about hijab but if you like women in a hijab then thats fine. But bit more covered up would be nice not coming to the gudwara looking like slags.

In Amritsar do they allow that in the gudwara?? No they do not so why here then? Dirty slags coming into the gudwara half naked nasty!!

I personally believe if you do not wear bana to guru ji's darbar then you should not go at all. I think guru ji will get angry with anyone who is not wearing bana in the same way he would if someone is wearing low cut tops, sleeveless suits, sarees suits, low cut suits on the back etc.

Satguru mehar karan and bless sangat with bana rehit

Brother...I am sorry, but I need to say this. Please do not spread mis-information about our Guru Ji. Please do not make things up that you have absolutely no knowledge about. You said that Guru Ji will get angry with people not wearing Bana at the Gurdwara. Our Guru Ji is not some dictator who gets angry all the time. Think about this, really think about this. You really think that our loving Guru will actually get mad at a Gursikh for not wearing a certain type of clothing? I don't think that's the way things work. I honestly think that its all in your head. The impression that many youth have of our Guru is extremely warped. Our Guru is loving and practical. You really think Guru Ji cares about what kind of clothes you wear? (i'm not talking about suggestive clothing here). I think Guru cares about our love and the way we act to others...how much kindness you have in your heart etc.

Many youth seem to have this image of Guru Ji watching our every move, waiting for us to make mistakes, so he can angrily punish us. Our Guru is our friend. Please stop spreading mis-information on things you have no idea about on this forum that has many young impressionable Sikhs on here. Thank you

Everybody just teach your sons and daughters to dress appropraitely at the Gurdwara. That's the least we can do and that's that!! No point going round in circles and arguing

Mr singh l am speaking the truth. Sorry l hurt your feelings. Okay well in that case your saying it does not matter what women wear? So them wearing shorts to the gudwara is okay?

If we cant stop this now few years time it will be that bad! Think about the future not about now.

If everyone wears bana then thats great! But in reality thats not happening. So i think bibis should wear simple full sleeve suits that cover them up properly and not flashy shiny bright suits, only khalsa colours. Its not such a problem with guys as long as they dont wear just vests

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
