Are you asking for evidence because you believe the hukam doesn't exist and don't agree with what the Hukam is saying to do?

he dismisses Hukamnamey just as easily as Gurbani , Methinks his aim is to generate shanka and not actually exchange ideas honestly. He doesn't even understand what he is saying , to proscribe something is to forbid it , Guru Gobind Singh ji  did not proscribe kesh  but continued the prescription of Guru Nanak Dev ji to live in total hukham . Gur mukh is facing towards Guru ji , one who follows his Guru ji's hukham unquestioningly , trusting Guru ji's bachan above all .

Patalaa pataal means planets or other worlds I presume.  However many times gurbani translations are stating or talking about the fourteen layers surrounding our own planet.

the layers are nothing more than other dimensions. Back then people believed in 14 realms and so on, Guru Sahib taught that there are infinite realms like those, the use of those words are simply to illustrate certain points to the populous back then.

Sikhs are said to keep long hair ,but it's never mentioned by the guru's not to trim or cut . They say keep long hair cut or uncut one should have hair that too long, trimmed or untrimmed doesn't make a difference. Its all human made rules. Guru's have never bound humans from anything. Guru's always say follow the path of truth and humanity.

The true meaning of Sikhism is not actually preached.

It's not written anywhere not to believe in other idols it says Sikhs dnt believe in any idols .but it doesn't bound anyone from its personal choice or space.

People have interpreted things as they wish too.

Sikhs say they r not Hindus .for their knowledge our guru Nanak dev Ji was from a hindu family .it was his own choice not to follow this family tradition . Same way people cnt force anyone to abide with anything that is against their wish and will

And our 10 th guru started Sikhism for a purpose ,that time there were wars and it was necessary to make people warriors .we Sikhs are warrior's . But as per today's scenario there aren't any wars

As there are changes in Muslim law .,there is a must and a need to have changes in Sikh culture as per people's choice .

There is many reasons of not keeping hair in today's time.  When one cover head the scalp can not breath Nd leads to many hair diseases. It Is very important even though there is too much of pollution nowadays it is important that one skin should breathe.

So I would conclude that it's ones choice and as per the tremendously changing environment one should change his or her habits of Living irrespective of any religion as per choice.

It's said in every Rehitnama around not to even touch a single hair for the purpose of removing it, its said again and again in all contemporary sikh sources.  All Sikhs are meant to keep their kesh and never cut it in any form. The Rehitnamas are from the Mukhvak of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Idol worshippers of any form in any religion are called fools.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji said he wasn't a Hindu, he also called Hindus as being blind to the divine. He also criticised their rituals, their way of life and even their Devtas. No one's forcing anyone to do anything, but don't shove other religions rites into Sikhi. You can't be called a sikh if you're purposely violating every tenant of it.

More nonsense. Guru Sahib told Sikhs to be always prepared for battle, Do you know the future? You're walking down an alleyway and somoene tries to mug you, what will you do? hug them to death? beg? That's why you need to be prepared for any situation.

Sikh laws cant be changed, no Sikh would dare change them as they were ordained by the Gurus. No Muslim i know would change their laws, maybe read a bit more before making all these claims.

The Scalp doesn't need air, pick up a science book once in a while, hair follicles there produce the hair to PROTECT the scalp from the sun,  what a load of tosh to say it needs to be aired.  The number of hair diseases that can occur (and most of them are really uncommon) pale in comparisons to ones without it. If you're that worried about pollution then move.

Good, then follow your advice. Just don't come here and tell Sikhs that Guru Nanak Dev Ji never said Sikhs should keep hairs, or it was ok to trim them. They said the exact opposite.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
