Due to Guru Shaib Kirpa my wife is pregnant and i have heard in katha that my wife should recite as much gurbani so that child will be good gursikh. I have also heard in one katha that it is during the 5-6 month that aatma enters in the child body and at that time more simran should be done.

Are there any more tips which should be done by my wife for having better kid

it says in gurbani the baby is doing simran for 10 months, if thats the case then wasnt the soul their from the first day?

i would say that do as much gurbani as she can, do amritvela 5 banian and do evening bani's as well and listen to kirtan whilst doing house work. when you baby is born you will notice how much kirpa he/she has .

hopethis helped.

Start (& complete) a sehaj paath, do chandi di vaar de paath (for warrior spirit)

Sirmran, play paath/kirtan all the time

It's not only the wife...who should be doing everything...u can do the sehaj paath...

Sant Sunder Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale's mom did 2 nitnems when she was pregnant: her own and her son's

and until sant ji was five years old, and able to do his nitnem, his father did 2 nitnem de paath: one for himself and one for his son.

So never a day passed in Sant Ji's life when his nitnem was not done :)

Do the whole seva, simran, bani, bana, kirtan, katha,

And start reading on Sikh history so ur ready to tell sakhis, bed time stories,

and perfect ur punjabi.........

Puratan Khalsa tradition is also to ensure the mother to be has open darshan of shastar in her house every day. This familiarises her and makes her comfortable with shastar and also creates love and respect form them via daily nit-darshan. The continuous exposure also gives rise to bir ras, all of these emotions are absorbed by the child.
