So where i live they have auction on haunted house and they go away cheap after a person goes inside and checks it. I have won it and i went to take a look at the house and well i saw much paranormal activity and the house seems to get barely any sunlight. so i was thinking since gurbani has so much power it can be a profit for me. i can get the house and do some gurbani with family. SO i was wandering what are some type of gurbani and paaths i can do? Yes i will be doing akhand path but just to be safe. i want to do more. SO any suggestions?

I've heard if your Amrit Dharee your safe, because paranormal things run away from Amrit Dharees, if your not Amrit Dharee make sure you pray and do your Nitnem Sahib (with family more better)i'm sure then you will be protected by waheguru.

I've heard katha about how Sri Akhand Paaths getting rid of Paranormal things, you can do a Sri Akhand Paath Sahib.

And don't underestimate Gurbani, Gurbani is very powerful

Just by saying Waheguru once you are protected and don't forget and have faith.

Theres is nothing above baani! And these tantras and mantras/ghosts/spirits....do not touch a sevak of guru ji who has faith. Being amritdhari alone isnt enough to protect you from these things, but true sharda and faith in your guru. There are amritdharis that are affected by these things because they may not be keeping a full rehat, or not reading baani, or lacking faith...in the gurus darbaar...faith and sharda and trusting your guru to be by your side 24/7 are most important.

These things do exists..even baani says this..and the only way to keep them away and protect yourself from these things is to read baani as much as possible. Any baani will help...although Sukhmani Sahib and Chaupai Sahib baani may be the ones to clock in this instance.

Leave a CD on repeat in the house 24/7 as even evil can become pure where the gurus name is being recited!

Hope that helps :)

I used to have loads of ghosts in my house, they used to attack me at night and make their prescence known, like knock on the door 3 times at like midnight and in the early hours.

After doing naam simran/bhagti, the Guru came and got rid of them for me...

i would say definently do akhand phat of sri guru granth sahib, plus a akhand phat of sri dasam granth sahib, also have real nihang fauja come to show guru jis prevaiding power to its extent, this way when both phogs are done, many shaheed singhs will also be in the room gaurding maharaj and will totally eradicate the evil spirits, ghosts, etc....also remember to take a phera of both granths in every room to bless it, then at night do kirtan sohila and have a water glass next to you when the water becomes amrit roop spray it everywhere in the house, do chuapai sahibs daily and have a clear conscience of reality that is god

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
