Wearing Red Clothes

Recommended Posts

I came across this tuk in Tankhahnama Bhai Nand Lal Ji,

ਸੂਹਾ ਪਹਿਨ ਲਏ ਨਸਵਾਰ|| ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜਮ ਕਰੈ ਖੁਆਰ||੧੦||

What does this tuk means? Do it really means that wearing red clothes is forbidden? If so, then why?

Will be very grateful

Thankyou

I don't know anything about this, (because im not a real sikh) but its interesting to know the colour of communism is red. Communism and facism is the same thing, just because they appear on opposite ends of the spectrum people think they differ.

Nazi Germany= Slaves under a dictatorship, with concentration camps. Communist Russia = Slaves under a dictatorship, with concentration camps.

Who else was red? The British? And we know what they are like.

It all makes sense. These negative entities like to use the colour red.

WOW ! Will religion now dictate what color clothes we should wear ?

Dude, you need to get out of your old box: India.

Quit the psycho-Hindu mentality.

I bet if there was a tuk regarding not wearing green,

I bet you'd be the first to say "Oh, green is for Islam, let's not wear it"...

So, in simple words, accept to the learn the facts, rather than making your own maryada.

Sadh Sangat Ji,

I've heard from one singh's lecture regarding red clothes....

In Baba Banda Bahudar Singh Ji's Jeevan..

If we read our history, at the time of baba banda singh bahadur...

When Baba Banda Singh and other singhs were arrested by mughul after long time, the mughuls changed the ''Guru Da Bana'' of Singhs and on purpose they put red clothes on Baba Banda Singh Bahudar and other singh and were laughed upon by mughul....

There must be a kaaran WHY on purpose mughuls only choose red colour and do basti and laugh on gursikhs.....

Singho Red Colour has many meaning which gursikhs should avoid...

Its very easy to evaluate, for example think ''A gursikh will never were a Red Bana'' ...

You can not get any feeling our love prem when you look at red colour..
