Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh

I just Guru Gobind Singh Ji's sharan by taking Amrit 17 July.

I want to do Sadharan Path but because I dont have Guru Granth Sahib saroop at home and I live in basement what should I do?

Can I do Path from Internet ? If yes what is the maryada and do I have to tell people upstair not to use the area above where I will do the Path ?

Secondly I am woking night shifts

so I come home and sleep for 5 hours or so and then do the Nitnem.

But I have to do Rehraas Sahib when I am leaving for work and Kirtan Sohila when I am working.

Is this OK?

If not please advice what should I be doing?

Welcome to the Khalsa Panth, Satguru charhdikala bakhshun ji.

There is no need to be dissapointed, you can very well do Sehaj Paath online or at Gurudwara Sahib.

If you do Sehaj Paath online, just remember to wash your hands & face.

Must ensure that your head is covered.

Don't think that Rehat Maryada applicable for Guru swaroop applies to computer.

So it doesn't matter where you or your neighbours live.

Regarding night shifts and doing Nitnem on time.

Would suggest that you get a hand held device (mobile or pda) and upload Nitnem is audio + video format.

This way you can listen or read Gurbani on time.

Firstly congratulations on becoming son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

It is called Sehaj Paath as opposed to sadharan.

Bhaji, life can be very difficult and sometimes you have to work strange hours, but Guru Ji is aware of this, it is not ideal but so if you need to do Rehras while working and Kirtan sohila when working then that is okay. the point is that you are actually making the effort to do the paath, many just woudn't do it , but you have taken the difficult and correct path to do the paath, so well done.
