Hi all

Strange thing happened this morning.

I left home to go to work, and during the course of my journey, I go through an alleyway.

When I was walking through the alleway, I saw something, which I though was dog poo and avoided stepping. As I got closer, it became apparent that it was a half baked roti, with a red thread around it, and it was wrapped. As I had already decided to walk around it, I carried on. Luckily das is in the habit of reciting Chaupi Sahib everyday when I leave home. I looked at this stupid thing, which some one had done (probably been told by some TV hotline) and carried on.

Now I am not supersitious, I believe in Sikhi, but for some reason this has had an impact on me today. The impact is that I can not stop thinking why would someone do this.

Why are people such morons. Why do they do these things. I have so angry today that I wish I could see who was doing this, and give them Chitar.

Anyhow, welcome your comments.

Evil will never prosper over good, it never has, these people will get whats coming to them so don't worry. We get paid for our karma in this life.

Bhaji,

I think you are having a normal reaction. When a person does not think ill of others then he expects the same from all, but all people are not the same. There are some people who are overcome with jelousy and hate. From the outside they seem okay but inside they harbour evil intent.

These things do happen and people will do jaddho, but have faith in Guru Ji and try reciting Chaupai Sahib - which is very powerful and is good for protection. When you journey to work you have an ideal time to recite Chaupai Sahib maybe 3 / 4 times. Or if you feel inclined say "Akaal Purkh" with one step and "Waheguru" with the next step. Then no half baked roti is every going to harm you.

Also Shabad "tathi vow naa laggi parbrahm surnai chaugirad hmaray raam kaar dhukh laggay na bhai....." is very good shabad.

Try listning to chaupai sahib that is set to music, it is normally on the sikh channel quite regularly. With it set to music and a nice tune it is easier to remember.
