I watched the video and to be fair Hardeep Singh Kohli states that he is not a practising Sikh, actually he says he doesn't follow any organised religion. He says he wears his turban for heritage and cultural reasons.

Obviously he is no superstar but he is only one of a handful of asians to be seen on primetime tv in the UK, so I might not be 100% behind him but all the best to him because he is on occasions really funny, like his book is hilarious. Apart from Kohli there is only in Eastenders the random Mr. Singh / extra, who has no lines. No other paghvale on mainstream primetime tv in the UK. (on a side note, eastend of London is full of Bengalis so why a Singh with a lady in a saree as his missus?)
