I personally don't get the same ras from anything other than AKJ and Tarna style kirtan (Sant Isher Singh). They're tooooooooo good!!

i lyk akj style kirtan..that givs me a different buzz frm lets sey..bhangra and mc remixes...and hip hop....garage...kirtan is very spiritual and more powerful....the otha stuff is proberly a waste of tym..but i lyk it neway

even thought I mostly listen to AKJ style kirtan, I still believe there is nothing that can ever compete with kirtan which is done in proper raags. Just listen to some tracks from the Jwaddi Taksal or of Bhai Balbir Singh Ji.

AKJ sytle kirtan just bursts into my mind and soul :D There are no words to express how I feel about this style.

Pyarie Sangat Ji my taste is Traditional kirtan it really relaxes me and when i feel the love i hit the rewind time and time again. But at times when im not in a relaxing mood like early morning the Tarana Style that Khalsa ji mentioned fires me up. The love in this style is also uncomparable as is all Gurbani!!! BUt it gives such Fire in the spirit (Josh), i love when the dhol hits and the NAAM chants its Everything you could ask for. Even beats Dhadi for me (loves Dhadi tooo ) Maharaj has blessed us in every situation we face dont you agree...
