Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

I've been searching through the entire forum, as I am in search ofa detailed article which writes the TRUTH about 1984, from the operation bluestar, and Indira wanted to destroy Sikhi, and that it wasn't due to bringing out militants, to a detailed description of 1984, where Sikhs were BURNT AND RAPED on the streets, with poliocemen standing and watching.

does anyone in the sangat know of any written piece - or preferably an ARTICLE, or other reliable source which can be given to the local newsagents for the information to the Gore about 'democratic' India?

please help ASAP, as I'm trying to write up a report on it in Swedish, whcih I need to back up with articles.

p.s Admins, if this is the wrong section - then I ask fr an apology but can we please let it stay here for a few days, as this section is the most visited one?

thanks in advance.

bhull chukk maaf

Bhaji, if you wish, I could ask my Masi Ji to tell you what happened. She was in her house at the time and could here the gunshots at the time. She lived not even half a mile from the Golden Temple. She made it through the event pray.gif

Anti-Sikh, Gujrat riots were painful: PM

Saturday, 12 June , 2004, 11:52

New Delhi: Describing the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and the Godhra incidents as "painful", Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday said an environment should be created so that such things are not repeated.

Singh made the remarks after paying obeisance at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib here.

Singh, who was accompanied by his wife Gursharan Kaur, said he understood the "pain and anguish" of Sikhs and emphasised that "such incidents should never occur again."

He also deplored the Gujarat riots. "These are painful incidents," he said, emphasising on the need to create an atmosphere wherein such incidents do not take place again.

Singh appealed to all sections of the society to help maintain peace and harmony in the country and usher in a "new dawn of prosperity".

"In the comity of nations, India should again become the golden bird," Singh said.

Reciting a couplet from Guru Gobind Singh's verses, he said he would not hesitate in sacrificing even his life in the interest of the country

Mr. Singh,

About human rights:

http://www.punjabjustice.org is perhaps the best resource

http://www.carnage84.com documents the riots of 84' through official papers! check the menu-link 'reports-> official' and 'affidavits'. You need to go through the main page and click continue at the bottom.

direct link:

About Bluestar and Delhi:

You may also find something here:

http://www.shrg.org/

http://www.voicesforfreedom.org/

http://shaheedkhalsa.com has lots of good documents, but i can't say anything about "official" stuff. direct link: http://shaheedkhalsa.com/h/humanrights/

I have the offline webpage of 'Khalsa Human Rights' group, their website is down...if you need contact me. But it

would take some time....as i need to fix the links and stuff.

I also partly have Burning Punjab website...but that i need to fix a lot.

GOOD LUCK SINGHA, once you are finished, send me the written stuff if you want...i can read through it (jeg forstår svensk, tror jeg).

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
