Sangat jio,

Just wondering how many amritdhari's are in the armed forces (canadian specifically). It's something I've been considering and I was wondering how the army treats a khalsa, in terms of allowing them to keep rehit, the panj kakaar, and problems that would interfere with a sikhi jeevani.

I was thinking If I do enlist, I would want to be a medical technician or even go the through med-school and then enlist (better signing bonus and more opportunities after/if you leave, I've heard).

Just wondering if I could get some feedback from the sangat, even if your not in the armed forces. Bring up any flaws, mistakes, views, or any problems I may have over looked, because before even fully considering this decision, I want as much info as possible. Especially before I even mention this idea to my family and get their reponse.
