khalsa ji, was wonder if anybody knew where baba ji is currently staying? are they in toronto? and i was reading on gursevak.com that baba ji made recordings of sri dasam granth katha done by sant gurbachan singh ji, along with bhai gurdaas ji's vaaran and sri sooraj parkash granth. does baba ji still have these recordings? and are they almost done recording sehaj paath of sri guru granth sahib ji? the site says march 2010 as the targeted completion date, just wanted to know if that was accurate.

sorry about all these questions, if anybody has any information about this, that would be highly appreciated.

I am currently staying with bhagat ji and planning to do so forever. he currently living at Surrey, BC, Canada. you can search it up on google maps.

Yes, its true that he recorded baba gurbachan singh ji but he said he does not have all the recordings. baba harnam singh ji dhuma has the dasam granth recording. but i think he has guru granth sahib ji and some varan by bhai gurdas ji. baba ji saidif you asak baba harnam sisngh ji, he might put the recording on the internet.

There sehaj path recording is postponed till they finish other stuff like putting in vishrams in SGGSJ and the SGGSJ steek. he currently did the sehaj path till 400 or so angs. you can get it by emailing them at admin@gursevak.com.

Please contact them to ask where to get other pothis from. i dont know if they will be putting the sehaj path on the web just yet, but you can ask.

I asked bhagat jee about the dasam granth recording and they said when sant baba gurbachan singh jee passed on the seva of the taksal to sant kartar singh jee khalsa they told him to give all the recording to sant kartar singh jee (you can listen the audio on http://gurmatveechar.com/audio/katha/katha.php?q=f&f=%2F01_Puratan_Katha%2FSant_Gurbachan_Singh_%28Bhindran_wale%29 (passing mukh seva to sant kartar singh jee)) then when sant jarnail singh jee became the jathedar the rcording were passsed on to him... so they said according to this marayda of passing the recording to the next jathedar of the taksal "sant" harnaam singh at metha might have them and the sangat should go demand him to put it on the interent to make it availbe for the sangat worldwide.

However he said PROBABLY sant harnaam singh has it but otherwise he said it could also be possible that sant jarnail singh jee has them because sant ji used to have "safe" at some pind (i forget what its called) and they used to keep the recordings there, so they were saying it could be possible that some singhs might have the recording on them and are waiting for sant jarnail singh jee to come back so they can give to him..

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
