Guru Nanak Gurdwara In Gravesend Celebrates Diwali With Dancing?

The photo shows Punjabi ladies doing bhangra/giddha with a caption to the photo clearly stating "Worshippers at Sikh Temple the Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Gravesend celebrated Diwali"

Are these ladies doing bhangra/giddha on the Gurudwara property?

Can anyone confirm whether this is true?

You sound like a taliban

My Punj Pyare told me that dancing and doing bhangra is no longer something that I can partake in, that for me is a hukam from Guru Jee. I don't ever enforce this on anyone and if someone does do bhangra/giddha whether Amritdhari or not in their own time...personally i don't care nor is it my place to judge.

However, if Gurdwara's are being used to do bhangra or giddha then that is unacceptable. If that makes me a taliban, well then i'm a proud one!

Dass is from gravsend, but that does not look like a room in the Gurdwara!

While i'm not from Gravesend myself, I know that around where the new Gurdwara is being built there are many side buildings owned by the Gurdwara Sahib and assumed that they maybe one of them was being used where the picture was taken.

Thank you for clarifying that Jee.
