Wearing Cap In Gurdwara

I dont think an adult "sikh" should be wearing a cap or hat in a Gurdwara as it sets a bad example to the younger sangat. So what else would you say to an cap wearing adult "Sikh" who is serving langar?

To the original poster, I think you believe someone other than a keshdhari would be setting a "bad" example for the "younger" sangat. It makes no difference what you use to cover your head. Hell, I've even see people use napkins.

I've found if it's young adults without kes, they usually don't intend disrespect, but are ignorant or unaware. I would grab a ramal and subtly and quietly offer it to them and ask that they remove the cap (unless it was associated with some other faith). Your body language in such a situation communicates much about what you are saying. To their credit, I can only recall very respectful responses.

If I encountered any adult doing this, I would probably ask if they were not able to find ramals and grab one and offer it to them.
