Miracles & SIKHI

A lot of Sikhs nowadays doubt a lot of Sikh history because they think it was impossible for certain things to happen. A lot of people think Baba Deep Singh Ji did not fight while his head was chopped off. They also think Guru Gobind Singh Ji did not chop off the heads of the punj pairyea (even dough history says that Guru Ji pulled out his sword and asked for a head). If you doubt this then you are saying that Guru Ji deceived his Sikhs and are indirectly calling him a lair. Plus if you believe God cannot to miracles then you have not understood Sikhi. Below I have included some bani quotes which prove God can and does do miracles.

Is what you've quoted in direct relation to any Miracle??

The Mircales asscocaited with Religions are un-scintific and not possible, Sikhi de-nounces all this,

and majic and superstitions.

A sakhi comes to mind. The below is what i remember of the sakhi. Please feel free to critisize or tell me if i missed bits out.

Once Sant Kartaar Singh Jee was on stage and at the same time a dhadhi jatha was doing parchaar. The dhadhi Jatha was well known and well respected, they had alot of gyaan and had done a lot of research and provided much for the panth.

The Dhadi Jatha was doing parchaar and said that maharaj didnt chop the 5 heads off and it was bakreh (somehting like thsi)

Then they started to there parchaar.

After them it was time for Sant Kartaar Singh Jee to go onstage and do parchaar, Sant Kartaar Singh Jee Khalsa went on stage and first did ustat of the dhadhi jatha in the sense that they were well known, did parchaar and did alot of research. Then Sant Kartaar Singh Jee said that you have one kamee in your jeevan, that you dont read much bani and dont know much bani. Then jee then said '' Staguru Meraa Maar Jeevaaleh'' and then did parchaar on how the amrit sanchaar happened and what happened.

I dont think there was a call for 5 heads at all Guru Gobind Singh Jee selected the Panj pyara.

I believe no heads we called for, nor was any one taken in to a tent, its a myth.

Panj pyara were selected to represent Khlasa as the were from different castes to show brotherhood.

People glamourise things and events to make it sound interesting.

fordcapri ji,

Do you want to believe your preconceptions about Sikhi, or what Gurbani says? There have been countless examples of 'miracles' in Sikhi, even today. What you or I call a 'miracle' is just part of Waheguru Ji's hukam. God can do anything, whether we understand it or not.

Ofcourse guruji be-headed the panjpiaras and then interchanged their heads with the bodies. sant makeen once said in a katha that if Shiva could bring back his dead son by changing the head with that of an elephant why do you think guruji could not do it.

Isn’t it a coincidence that there were all of different castes??

That why they were selected, the 1st group of Khalsa all of different caste, drink from the same bowl, show brotherhood.

theres countless castes, the ones who were chosen are a fair represenation of high middle and low.
