Hi we are looking to do sewa of Guru Ji at home. i was wondering if anybody know somone who can make us a takhat poosh

(not sure i spelt poosh right) If you know anyone who can make one can you let me know so i can get one made. im looking at somewhere in the west midlands

slightly going off-topic here, but i suggest you do parkaash of Senchiyaa Sahibs of Guru Granth Sahib Jee Instead.

We use to have parkash of guru ji at home for over 6 yrs but our takhat poosh needed replacing so we are waiting for a new one so we can do guru ji seva again.

As for senchiyaa just rememeber if you have a complete set then that becomes a saroop so its no different they still have to be looked after as a saroop as well. hope it makes sense.

Is there no one out there who knows were we can get a takhat poosh made in the midlands UK.

lets take this from another angle, if you have parkash of guru sahib and have a takhat poosj who did you get it made by.

Go to 'Marg Sat Santokh'. It's the hardware shop next door to Soho Road Gurdwara, they can make Palkis etc so should be able to make what you want and their workmanship is top quality.
