Should The Ceramony Like Uthala Or Lanva(marriage Ceramony) Are Hosted In Historical Gurudwara Sahib

Recommended Posts

Dear All reader

I want to raise your attention to very a worst thing are allowing by our Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee that the Ceramony of UTHALA (antim Ardas) and Lanva (marriage Ceramony) held in The Historical Gurudwara like Gurudwara RakabGanj Sahib , Nanak Pio, Gurudwara Motibagh.

It is very hot topic which we all should think about same. For money the Management Committee is ruining the importance of these Historical Place.

If you ever visit in these Gurudwara Sahib when the ceramonies which I have mention earlier are taking place you must stuck in different mental stage, at this time you have must feel that you are not in a Historical Place and you feel like that you have visited a Colony's Singh Sabha Gurudwara.

I am a sikh of Guru Nanak and I have felt lots of time like that and you have also felt like that.

But think about the people who are not sikh and who comes from very far away to see these Historical place what affect on that they never feel comfert in this situation like that, this is not affect only one people that one people will tell it to ten other and ten other convey it to hundreds.

I am posting this forum and I need your support to remove this worst thing, If I succeed to convience a single person than I will thing I am going to right way.

Please reply me your though regarding same.

There is huge difference in Historical Gurudwara and Colony's Gurudwara bcos the person who does not belong to our religion and who comes very far away from there to the see that Historical place and want to know the history of our Guru Sahiban, When the ceramony like I have pointed out in my blog that time the person can never feel comfertable in Gurudwara Sahib bcos 98% sangat in Gurudwara Sahib at that time related to this ceramony.

I am very much confident that you all people will accept that in Gurudwara Sahib only talk about Bani which have written in Guru Granth Sahib not any other thing, I have seen lots of time all the people in Gurudwara Sahib at the moment when these type of ceramonys going on they talk each other regarding their well ness and they never hear wat the Kirtan is teaching us. And the menagement committee forget the rule and regulation of Gurudwara Sahib they change the Hukunama for the people who arrange this ceramoney which should not be changed. I have pointed out this thing to Head Granthi Saheb that why you change the rule and regulation he told me that he can do anything in it bcos he did only that the management committee told him, he is helpless, hr accepted my point and told me that you are right.

I am pointing that the money factor is going bigger than Sabad factor, bcos the management committee permitted these type of ceramony for only money.

I have another question are the comittee will permit a Hindu Pariwar to do these thing if they whole faith in Guru Granth Sahib and Guru Nanak's thought, I know they will never permitted them bcos I have tried it already. Bcos they had hatred in their heart for them due to 84's, but it is not a way of Guru Nakak bcos Guru Nanak tought all the people only love and to hate ani human being on basis of religion or Caste.

I urged all the people to become a Sikh of Guru Nanak.

Thanks

Whats the difference between a historical Gurudwara and a "colony Gurudwara" - at the end of the day where there is Parkash of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji then that is a Gurughar.. so why does it matter if Sangat choose a historical Gurughar to get married? its the same thing, Gurughar is Gurughar..

We have much more important factors such as caste Gurudwaras to worry about and here were talking about whether marriage should be carried out in a historical Gurudwara.. where does it say in Bani one cant get married at a historical Gurughar?!

Serious people sort yourselves out, I am the biggest moorakh out there but is it just me who feels annoyed that we make mountains out of molehills?

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
