i know i made a post like this before

asking about the air india bombings and i got the answer that sikhs were framed

so heres my next question

me and my dad are having a minor disagreement

i am planning to go to india soon

i dont want to go on air india under any circumstances just for that reason

i dont want to give them any money

also i heard that the money went toward buying weopons against Sikhs

is this true?

is it wrong for a sikh to go on air india as well in this day and age

the ticket is 200 dollars cheaper but theres no way ima do it

Well I guess thats up to each person individually... at one point you're saying that you want to go to india, but you don't want to use an indian owned airline to do so. Seems a little counter-intuitive. Either way, you're giving India money.

I don't know the whole air india story, and frankly I doubt anyone here does. But if it makes you feel better to fly another airline, then go ahead, its worth $200 for some piece of mind. That said, you're thinking of doing something now for an event that happened more than 2 decades ago, now with a Sikh Prime Minister and more prominent sikh politicians leading the country. I guess you also have to ask yourself who are you really punishing?

I don't have any answers in my post, but these are things to think about when you're deciding for your own information

more then 20 percent of air india / indian airlines pilots are sikhs as far as i know !!!

ive heared rumors but i wasnt born yet so i dunno

even though it happened over 20 years ago we cant forget it until justice is served and it still has not been served
