I was going for a journey to Amritsar via train and met an elderly person..it seemed he was a sant....during general chit chat ...came the topic of keeping pets and he said that it is considered that who pet dogs are dogs themselves...i wanna no if thats true...he told me that in gurbani the following verse is written....

"KUT-TA SO JO KUT-TA PAALE"

I could not find that...sounds a bit made up in my honest opinion....

But I DID find this:

suAwmI ko igRhu ijau sdw suAwn qjq nhI inq ]

suaamee ko grihu jio sadhaa suaan thajath nehee nith ||

A dog never abandons the home of his master.

nwnk ieh ibiD hir Bjau iek min huie iek iciq ]45]

naanak eih bidhh har bhajo eik man hue eik chith ||45||

O Nanak, in just the same way, vibrate, and meditate on the Lord, single-mindedly, with one-pointed consciousness. ||45||

This was by Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji

1428 Salok Mehl 9

So dogs cant be that bad eh?

It's probably one of those Punjabi mottos flying around the country

I once heard that in Maharaj it's written that if you stick your hand in sesame seeds and pull it out - you'll find thousands stuck to the hand....that's meant to be an idea of how many times a muslim has lied? :6

I've heard that one from many people and they trully believe it is bani???
