Dont believe what you read on websites and in other places, Giani Iqbal Singh Ji cleared his stand on what the "spokesman" and other papers tried to frame him with.

Then the issue of RSS? in a meeting WHERE RSS people were present Giani Iqbal Singh Ji spoke out in the meeting OPPOSING THE RSS, but these things arent brought infront of the Sikh Sangat.

BADAL wants Giani Iqbal Singh out the rest of the Jathedar's eg: Joginder Vedanti, Tirlochan Singh & Balwant Singh Nandgarh (PRO BADAL group) want him out, only Takhat Sri Hazur Sahib Jathedar are ok with Giani Iqbal Singh.

And milk washed Mr. Vedanti can talk, what issue has vedanti solved in the last 8 years as Jathedaar? What stand has he taken?

Tirlochan Singh - Jathedaar Takhat Sri Kegarh Sahib - Anandpur Sahib, badal makes remarks against Sant Bhindranwale, calling them a terrorist etc, Tirlochan Singh says Badal is the same level as Maharaja Ranjit Singh and gives badal a sirpao at Anandpur Sahib.

Balwant Singh Nandgarh, at time of sacha sauda - to make publicity makes vowes to weigh the killer of gurmeet ram raheem in gold etc etc, we'll do this, we'll do that, destroy his dera's etc etc.... where is he now?

SGPC employees & task force stopped Giani Iqbal Singh entering the Sri Akal Takhat Sahib offices........................ could somebody explain where this task force SGPC army was in june 84? when dera sacha sauda need bashing where are SGPC TASK FORCE then?

I think the Sikh Sangat didnt read the story about the SGPC employee caught perving in young girls taking ishnaan in the Sarowar at Sri Darbar Sahib!

Whats wrong in reading 5 banian in nitnem? what wrong in reading the entire 40 paurian of Sri Anand Sahib? whats wrong with the old Sikh calendar? whats wrong with saying the Mool Mantar in till " Nanak Hosi Bhi Sach"?

These are the Hukamnama's issued by Giani Iqbal Singh, if these are wrong then Guru Sahib must be wrong too?

If 5 banian are read to make Amrit, then why not in a GurSikhs day to day Bani?

Whats wrong in reading more Paath?

If the old calendar was being used for so long from Guru Sahibs times why change it now?

Jathedar, Patna Sahib, Giani Iqbal Singh has rejected the Gurmatta, passed by the Sikh clergy at Akal Takht, directing the Sikh masses to ignore the edicts issued from Takht Patna Sahib.

The meeting of Akal Takht, presided over by Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti here yesterday, had accused Giani Iqbal Singh of “misusing” his authority as Jathedar, Patna Sahib. Peeved over the decision of the Sikh clergy, Giani Iqbal Singh said he would bring out a White Paper on the alleged decision taken at Akal Takht in the past five years to expose Jathedar Vedanti. Jathedar Iqbal Singh alleged that he had been under tremendous pressure from Jathedar Vedanti and his personal assistant Prithipal Singh Sandhu, while taking important Panthic decisions. He alleged that he was humiliated by SGPC employees, including its task force, in front of the Akal Takht secretariat at the behest of Jathedar Vedanti, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and the RSS lobby, as he wanted to take some drastic decisions against them on the basis of complaints being received at Takht Patna Sahib.

He said the proposed White Paper would force the SGPC to sack Jathedar Vedanti. He claimed that he had enough material against Jathedar Vedanti and some of his relatives. It would be an eye-opener for the Sikh Panth.

Questioning the Gurmatta, Giani Iqbal Singh said the Sikh high priests of Takht Patna Sahib had excommunicated Prof Darshan Singh, a former Jathedar of Akal Takht, for questioning the authenticity of the Dasam Granth.

It is reliably learnt that the pro-Badal management of Takht Patna Sahib may sack Giani Iqbal Singh as Jathedar if he convenes any meeting of the Sikh clergy at Takht Patna Sahib to embarrass the SGPC and the SAD. The management committee of Takht Patna Sahib has 15 members, out of which two are dead. President of the committee Mohinder Singh Romana and some office-bearers are confidants of Chief Minister Badal. However, Giani Iqbal Singh alleged that the Takht management had no authority to remove him as Jathedar.

Yes, and he should bring about a paper about his activities too. He deposited a sum of Rs. One Crore, ten Million Rupees, in his account which he got from sangat of USA, and gave it to Gurdwara Patna Sahib only after lot of protests.

If some SGPC employee is corrupt, what does Jathedars have to do with it? Besides Badal maybe Bad, but he is a politician, not a Jathedar. And some people quote from DG that you need political power for sustaining Panth. Why are they forgetting that now?

If Vedanti has some shortcomings or even Badal, that does not make Iqbal Singh a saint. Iqbal Singh has been sacked once by the management committee of Patna Sahib, if he tries tricks, he will be sacked again.

Akal takht has stated that no discussion or controversy of any kind is to be raised regarding 5 banis of nitnem and those recited from DG during Amrit Sanchar. Instead of skirting the REAL ISSUE , would someone explain the Stand of Iqbal Singh regarding DG vis a vis SGGS.

About old calendar it was based on Hindu calendar, new one is based on Sikh calendar from the starting point of Sikhi i.e birth of Guru Nanak Dev jee. Iqbal Singh is peeved over the calendar and so is Hazoor sahib, because they were not consulted before implementing the new calendar. It was Tohras mistake, he thought he did not need to consult any one. However this does not mean that the new calendar is not good.

And people need to understand that Akal Takht is supreme body of Panth, which it has been since the time of ranjit singh. Personally i feel, it is Tohra that broght decline in functioning of Gurdwaras. He came from communist party of india and did a lot of damage to Panth.
