Panjvah Takhat Or 5th Takhat

As far as i'm aware, history recalls that there has only ever been 4 Takhats and the 5th was added at the time of the creation of the SGPC.

"Shiromani Panth Akali Budha Dal Panjvah Takht Sahib" - is Buddha Dal the 5th moving Takhat? This is a very big statment and i'm wondering what the Sampardhaee perspective of Budha Dal being the 5th moving Takhat?

sgpc was cretaed inthe 1920s. they made DamDama Sahib - Guru Ki kanshi into a Takht in the 1970s. there were only four takhts originally. However is BudhaDal the 5th takht? or A takht?

does any one know the history of how the other takhts were decided and how they came to be. i know for sure that akal takht was established by guru hargobind but i dont know much about the others.

if u talk to nihangs ...yes they do believe that Buddha Dal 96croree Chalda Vaheer is the 5th moving takht... and yes Damdama was announced a takht in 1967 i think it was... my grandfather gave me the rehat maryada printed by sgpc that year n thats wher it was first mentioned...

other than the Nihungs, what do the other sampardha's (Taksal, Harkowal etc) believe?

If u ask me....... there should be only one Takht... The one that was already fixed by Guru Ji... so Akal Takht... Because for me Gurdwara Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib is equally or even more important than like Takht Sri Patna Sahib....

Why choose 4 other Seats of Authority??? Is Damdama sahib more imprtant than the birthplace of the founder of Sikhism?????

sri damdama sahib was made takth sahib by govt in 1967 and it was made official by a laddi maar Atal Behari vajpayi ... who was the chief guest in the program ... even the design of sri damdama sahib is not of the takth ... all the takth sahibs have parkash of shasters in center and at highest level on right side is the place where parkash of sri guru granth sahib was done and on the left side parkash of sri dasam granth sahib was done ( this mareyada was followed at all 4 takths till 1920s but now followed at takths out side punjab ) and sri damdama sahib has a design very different from puratan mareyada of takths ...

and yeah budhadal was seen as 5th takth and its recognized as 5 th takth by akali dal amritsar very recently ...

for that u need to know till rattan singh bhangu wrote prachin panth parkash that when maharaja ranjit singh was ruling khalsa raj was on high ... even in his writings he has called sri akal takth sahib as akal bunga ... when we see it as gurudwara sahib it was called akal bunga ... and when we see it has takth it was called akal takth sahib ... all u need to find out whats difference between a takth sahib and gurudwaras sahib ...

from takth sahibs hukamnama were send ... we find hukamnamas from these four takths and fifth is budhadal whose hukamnamas are there no other gurudwara sahib or jathebandi till british took over punjab ...

and one more interesting reason before the kukka movement amrit sanchars were only done at either 4 takth sahibs or the chaldi vahir ie is budhadal ... from place to place chaldi vahir budhadal moves and people come to them and take amrit ...

and these are historical facts and can be confirmed ...
