As a blanket statement about all Sikh institutes I would have to say its not true, however as with all things, places and ideas there will always be those elements that look out for their own wellbeing before the genuine needs of others, that’s just the way life is unfortunately.

bruv, the term "gurmukh" can only be used for the gurus. it cannot be used for someone who hasn't fully defeated his 5 evils, maya and realised 1 God. your gurmukh when you are facing your inner guru. that is, you're gurmukh when you follow your inner guru 100% not your own mind. and we will always still manmukhs till we become gurmukh. so we can use the term "sikh" or "gursikh" even gursikh is a very high spiritually stage.
