Oh wicked. Whos going?

Okay, serious note, what concerns me is the below :

things that upset me.. in a RAMGARHIA HAL...

Is this Ramgharia Gurdwara hall or is it named Ramgharia Hall? Clarification anyone?

Other than that, Sikhs dont own Vaisakhi. We dont own any particular day in history to claim it. And as someone already said, Vaisakhi was around long before Guru Gobind Singh Jee chose to create the Khalsa on that day. So dont worry about what others are doing. Concentrate on yourselves and what you will be doing that day.

The gurughar DEFINITELY owns the hall... :D

Some Suggestions.

1) If this is a Gurdwara's Hall then has or can anyone contact the above performers and get their view on the whole scenario? I know for a fact one notable punjabi singer's manager (might have been Harbhajan Maan) pre-checked his bookings some 2 years ago at the request of the singer who did not want to perform at a wedding hall if Guru Granth Sahib Ji's Saroop would be taken to the venue.

It would be interesting to see what the feedback of people like Jazzy B etc would be. In terms of timing, now is the best time to contact them. You can't have a gig without performers!

2) In terms of an effective resolve anyone who has influence on organisations like AKJ UK, GNNSJ, SFUK, Ramgharia Council of Gurdwaras (if there is such a thing!), Leicester council of Gurdwaras etc. then it's time to ask for their help and support. Sit with the Prabhandaks and come to a resolve.

3) Increase our nit-nem in order to gain support and strategy. Commit our sewa within our local Guru Ghar. Build ourselves and build our kamai. Interact with our community, interact with the Sangat. Remember we are carrying the roop of the Guru before we do any act that would bring shame on our kaum.
