there are a couple of mistakes in this shabad on sikhitothemax! The second line reads "Pokhanhar" but its Pokhanharaa in the amrit kirtan. In the amrit kirtan it says "Anand Binodhee JEE JUP", not chojeea. Please look at an amrit kirtan as sttm has many errors like these. Hopefully sevadaars will correct these errors when the new version comes out ! :D

This can't be the varaan of Bhai Gurdas because he passed away in Guru Hargobind's time?

It is said to have been written by "the second Bhai Gurdas"; a poet who lived after the (physical) death of Guru Gobind Singh Ji (i.e after Guru Granth Sahib Ji was instilled as Guru of the Sikhs. I believed this was around 1750-70's sometime.

The "first Bhai Gurdas Ji" has written 40 Vaars; for some reason this was later on added into the same volume since they had the same (makes no sense to me)

Although his writings are very nice; they controversial since they are written at least 50 years after Guru Gobind Singh Ji's time :D
