Hi everybody, a little about myself im a sikh but non practising, i have hair cut i drink alcohol and i used to smoke. Recently i had a dream where i was in the Gurdwara sitting listeniong to the kirtan and next to me was sat Guru Gobind Singh Ji. In my dream he did speak to me and i was speaking to him but i have recollection of this conversation. Can anyone tell me what this may mean ?

Guest Jee,

Gurbani is the language through which  Akal Purukh talks to us beings. So though we may not see Him, due to the layers upon layers of filth on our minds, but the fact is, He is right there, wherever His mahima is sung, it was the  apaar bakishsh  of Guru Jee on you, that even for a small while He gave you His darshan.

But that does not mean, if we do not see Him, He is not there. We need purity, to be able to look at that powerhouse of all virtues and absolute immaculate purity.

Though this your post has been about 10 years, which is quite a long time, we do not know about your present condition, but in case  you are not yet on the path of sikhee, do considere coming back, if you already are, then, best wishes anyhow.

Stay blessed.

Sat Sree Akal.

Wow its such a old post! i was a 15 year old kid when this was posted haha. I hope this guy became a sikh ...

i never have nice dreams! its been a while since i had one, but a lot of the time when i have dreams i am lost, scared and anxious!  i am trapped in a small room, or im lost in a building trying to find the exit, or there is water everywhere around me, or im running away from something! i have these types of dreams and wake up really anxious. sometimes i have dreams of people shouting at me or me getting blamed for sometime i didn't do. then sometimes i have very abstract dreams, like of random shapes and colors  lol         really weird...

I don't think iv every had a dream with sikhi in it ...

hallucination. or just a dream, as you might say. in other words, means nothing, nothing at all.
