Amritsar, June 24 A jatha of Sikh pilgrims will go to Pakistan on June 26 to observe the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which falls on June 29. This was disclosed by Mr Ram Singh, an official spokesman for the SGPC in a press note issued here today. The jatha would return to India on July 5 after visiting Sikh shrines in Lahore, Hassan Abdal, Eminabad and other places. The jatha would be led by Mr Onkar Singh Sharifpura, a confidant of Mr Gurcharan Singh Tohra.   Thanks for this. It combines the four approved sources (Guru Granth Sahib ji, Dasam Granth Sahib, Bhai Gurdas ji (both Vaar and Kabitt), and Bhai Nand Lal ji in one place. The English translation is the Sant Singh Khalsa and the Punjabi is the Principal Sahib Singh. These aren't that great, but at least they are better than some even worse ones floating around these days.
