india's supposedly secular and doesnt follow the dictates of only one religion...

Iran's obviously run by a Muslim government acting on the behalf of God.

Hoping for a theocracy that runs without sins is like hoping a diesel truck runs without emitting smoke. So I stand for a secular, liberal democracy. Because only when the intemperate will of the majority is balanced with concern for the rights of the minorities can there be something even approaching a just government.
