From what I've been told by much wiser Gursikhs, your Dasvandh is a TAX to the KHALSA...your Dasvandh should go to organizations that do seva for the Panth such as, Khalsa Alliance or Shahbaaz Khalsa or something. Your Dasvandh is not the end though. You can, and definately should, donate to other organizations that need the money...

Ek Onkar Satnam

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Sangat Ji, Dasvandh comes in two types, time and maya (items or money), both can be used for the wellfare of society. Such as Guru Nanak Dev Ji did by feeding the fakirs, with the money he was given and by using his own time to serve them. Dasvandh is needed everywhere all the time.
