A LOT of ppl here confusing Sikh men with typical Punjabi atheist men, and Sikh women with typical Punjabi atheist women. The words Sikh and Punjabi are not interchangeable ppl! As for the marriage i could care less only time I would care would be if the Tamil dude converted to sikhi otherwise y should we be bothered if two presumably non religious folks get married

Guest so what

Who cares, we're not racist or elitist, we see ourselves as - as the lowest of the low. If Guru Nanak could call himself a lowly worm, then u should all be quiet. Back in the day Hindu borns were marrying Muslim borns, Guru Nanak said both don't exist and theres only One- One Truth which is the core and purest form of every major religion.

Stop being so arrogant.

How does it matter if she follows sikhi? She may follow it much better in the spirit of tolerance love and respect. Jin prem kiyo tin hee prabh payo, God or the Guru just seeks love and if her soulmate is born Tamil, that is just fine! Remember ...sab mein jyot jyot hei soi

Why bother about interracial marriages when the lives of these individuals who are doing so do not belong to you. By the way when you are immersed in only one culture/group, it's easy to fall in the trap of believing that it's somehow superior to all other cultures. Believing so makes your world smaller and less interesting. When your spouse comes from a different ethnic/cultural groups, it exposes you to a completely new world , which broadens your horizons and makes you a better person.

:waheguru:WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA

WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

Well being a human first , i have always believed that god has created humans equally . GOD IS ONE. We have to respect other religion and races . We shouldn't be calling them by names such like "kalus" and all . Well they are also god's creation right? They are not different from us . We are all still humans.

About punjabi girls marrying indians or other religion.... i feel it is not a sin or shame because no one is born with a religion at first

Sanjog is made by the god and not humans

Not to say all punjabi men are good right? Well if all punjabi men were perfect and if they truely care for their wifes then they wont end up with a divorce !!!! if a punjabi girl can live her life happily witg other race or if a punjabi guy can live his life happily with another race then who are we to judge them . Let them be happy.

Love is religion

Marrying another religion is not sin because somehow that person is marrying a human and not animal right?

That's ridiculous.. Guru nanak dev ji was not amritdari?

Amrit used to be made from the feet of the true Guru, and it was called Charan Amrit.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
