I Don't Want To Merge With Waheguru?

Recommended Posts

when we "jap" "naam", think of the naam u r japping.............if its waheguru then think about the reasons why u japping for me its a personal thing..........we al jap name for our own reasons............some of them can be selfish...............when we want things, people, etc.............sometime we jaap name to find "peace" but its important to remember sometimes we call out to waheguru bcos we need to "belong"

i believe the need to find God only arises when we realise we not getting the sukh from life, family, friends, etc etc so we look to God for the answers and the process of japping naam is to listen and understand the shabds we japping and what it means and what its tring to tell us............the wonders of japping name is that one shabd can have a thousand meanings and we extract from that, the thing that gives us peace and comfort...........and only waheguru can give us that..........

Is it okay to say that about atheists too? I don't think waheguru is mean to people who don't "jap naam" or is he/she?

if you still have that question, then i can't help you.

like i said before, that question to me sounds like "why do we eat" the answer obviously is "to survive" . same applies here.

From what you have said.. atheists give lekha to dharamraj. The sole reason for japping naam will then be to merge with god..rght?

as we talked about the other day, the "reason" will change as you progress on your spiritual journey.

I think of it like this ; as we jaap naam we cleanse our minds, bodies n souls...as we do so it makes it easier to connect with waheguru - the cleaner we get the more likely naam will b with us - I'm not saying this is like automatic - it's all up to Maharaj; nothing is controlled by us...apart from this I think that it also gives us peace of mind, even when you think you havent made the connection, meditation calms us and kinda energises us - like Papi Pahji said, it's like food; it gives us energy to survive and thrive....i think tongue.gif

One day Gautama the young Buddha ran away from his kingdom, frustrated with life and the pomp of his court. He ran for hours then he came across a clearing in a dense part of the forest. Sitting on a log was a dishevelled old man he looked pal and thin. Gautama had become tired and hungry so he sat down next to the old man on a log and took out some fruit and bread from his sack. As he broke his bread he felt the hunger of the old mans eyes so he handed him a piece, The old mans face lit up like the morning sun. Fascinated Gautama handed him another piece and again the old mans face reflected his inner glow. Gautama’s heart melted when he saw the old man eat so he gave all the food, the old man in return could see Gautama glow with love as he shared his food with him, he had never felt like this before. Through out the whole experience no one spoke not a whisper. Finally it began to get dark and Gautama got up and ran home, the old man also shuffled up and made his way to his home enchanted by Gautama’s generosity and love.

The young Buddha ran in to the palace and in to his mothers arms, when asked where he had been he replied “ today I truly met God, I felt him, he looked like an old man but I knew it was him I could feel his love, you should have seen his glowing face, I couldn’t even speak it was that wonderful”

The old man subsequently had also reached his small wooden house at the edge of the forest and with a smile opened the door. His wife who had been worried about him asked where he had been he replied

“ Truly today I met the Lord, he came to me as a small boy dressed like a heavenly prince, he knew I was hungry, he fed me and showered me with his love, truly today I have met the Lord, I was lost in the moment”

The Lord God Vaheguru resides in us all, in the mechanics of perfections and definitions we all too often forget that.

You may have heard of Swindon and Moga where Akath Katha happens by bhai sahib Ajit Singh. I am not in to it but respect those who are especially my brothers.

They jap naam together, no on eoges ahead of the other so they getting in the boat together, when i do attend i find it very uplifting simran. Some people get shabad surth da mel, which is connection and it is always quite inspiring to see.

I just can't get my head around some of their explanations but the Simran is Out of this world.

    • Well get the hell off this site then. NO room for crap sikhs m8! Go back to your mandir and poor milk over some statues. Maybe then you'll get kirpa from your devi devte 😂 Loool go eat some badaam to sort your brain out. Its too fickle and weak.
    • What the heck. Calm down. I can post whatever i want. So what if im a crap sikh. I dont care.
    • as far as I know he has many streams of making money so no i have no problem with earning it's how he earns , if it brings pointing fingers on sikhi roop or does beadbhi of Guru ji, there are already too many others doing that for someone who knows better to start. As for my comment it was because the sangat of these yoginis seems to encourage the Singhs to do things which are frowned upon , like dragging Guru ji's saroop to places which are not suitable to host Guru ji or to monetize Gurbani kirtan and their roop(before you say it kirtaniyas perform in front of Guru ji and Sangat, not music festivals in concert halls) .3Ho have links with RSS swamis/guru so you can bet there is influence as we have seen in Niddar's case , probably again there will be something brewing will which show itself soon. i   where anti ? they just said they recognise their own failing to be impartial because of influences and their need to distance from said influences as it was skewing their output . What they said about Dal UK was even handed in terms of pointing out that backing up certain individuals meant they were trapped by it. Anyway calling on people to not rest on laurels of others' achievements is hardly against anyone it's just asking them to live up to their aspirations.
    • Asking what? I want answers from this site because i thought there were people here who have knowledge. And i want KNOWLEDGE!!
    • Fine better to also do some khoj yourself before asking.
