waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh!!

i havent search the topic thoroughly yet but so far havent came across a topic where some1 has spoken about having sex before marriage

this is just for those people who may have had a physical relationship before marriage but havent spoken up about it

so urm wt wud u want 2 know?

well first of all, bieng sikhs of guru ji, we all know that its wrong to have sex before marriage

so what if you have already committed this sin?

what if you are repenting for the sin?

what if you want to reform your life?

will waheguru ji forgive you?

what must you do to seek forgiveness?

and finally...

can one still reach sachkhand after committing such a sin?

well i dont have the answers to these questions, but if some1 could provide an answer that would be brilliant

just thought id start u all off, cuz i know some people are too shy to talk about it, so i may aswel act as "the voice of the people" lol

waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh!!

This is the answer for "can a person repent?", "what if you want to repent?", and "what must you do to seek forgiveness?":

Everyone makes mistakes and you can always repent and seek forgiveness at Guru Sahib's charan. Sex before or outside of marriage is not just a small mistake, but is infact a bujjar kurehit, so the only way for a Sikh of the Guru to seek forgiveness for such a mistake is to seek forgiveness from the Guru himself, who, in this day, is in the form of the Punj Pyaaray. This is the only way in which a Sikh can seek forgiveness for a bujjar kurehit -- by presenting her/himself before the Punj, admitting the fault, and seeking forgiveness in this way, thereby being brought back into the Sikh fold.

Only Waheguru can judge who will or will not go to Sachkhand, but one thing is for sure: if a Sikh has made such a mistake, without seeking forgiveness from Punj Pyaaray, there's no way such a person can really be forgiven.

as far as i studied ... in all granths no sakhi came about sex b4 marriage .... but 2 sakhis came 1 guru shri nanak sahib ji and other guru gobind singh sahib .... and both are sex out of marriage .... and sakhi about it before marriage dont come because at that time they get married at 12 - 14 maximum 16 ....

guru nanak sahib sakhi teaches about this sin in very detailed ... like what will happen when such a person will go in dargha how will yamdotts behave with him ... what akal will ask ...

i can post full sakhi here if mods allow .... as its related to kam in detail .....

we are talking about sikhi ( walking on the path of Guru ji)...what sikhi/Guru sahib says about this! not what the world thinks or what people do. if we followed people...we will be in a big mess!

Spiritual beings follow the path which is distinct.

and it is said that one is to control the 5s not get rid of them according to what i have read and learned from others.

bhul chuk muaff karni

waheguru ji kakhalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
